Full architectural service
I offer a full design and site inspection service for new buildings, alterations and conservation projects with construction costs of up to £2m.
I develop the design in stages of increasing detail. Initially, I establish my clients' objectives and priorities, and produce a brief and outline design(s). I work closely with clients and other professionals to develop the brief and design, explaining options and choices at each stage. I produce drawings and documents for any consents required, such as planning permission, listed building consent, faculty and building regulations.
I obtain tenders from selected contractors, and complete contracts for the building work. On site, I inspect regularly to ensure work follows the specification. I value work completed each month, oversee payments to the contractor, and confirm when all works have been satisfactorily completed.

Fees
I offer competitive fees. Where possible, I quote fixed fees for defined work. My fees are currently exempt from value-added tax.
